The Soul’s apothecary (Procreate – April 2023)

The apothecary was a kind old woman. Her face full of wrinkles reflected extreme old age that made it impossible to determine her age. She moved slowly but precisely, and always knew where to find that miraculous little bottle among all the ones crowded on the pharmacy shelves. The first thing that struck you like a tsunami of kindness was her smile, which was always apparent even if her mouth was closed. Then it was the turn of her eyes, dense, milky and deep, which acted like two scanners behind her thick lenses, capable of detecting the pain of the soul of the customer in front of her.
